OPEN SOURCE 1.4 Reception Friday, May 31, 2019 5-8 pm (May 14, 2019)
The OPEN SOURCE 1.4 exhibition reception at The Carnegie in Covington will be on Friday May 31, 2019. I will have drawings in new curatorial directions for this show.
The Carnegie Galleries will host a reception for Open Source 1.4, the final installment of Open Source, a series of rotating installations and objects selected by a fluid team of curators, artists, collectors, writers, critics, and community organizers from across the region.
The final installation of the exhibition will begin with a reception on Friday, May 31. During the reception, Take a Moment (Jon Flannery + Joe Walsh) will have a live screen printing workshop where attendees can purchase pieces made on Friday evening.
This year’s GSA artists Daisy Slucher, Travis Sparks, and Anya Zalewski will be in attendance and on hand to answer audience questions.

Tree Hugger (May 6, 2019)
Here is another tree drawing with the iPad Pro. This tree was the best tree I hugged this past winter. I came back to it several times. And yes, I must admit that I am a tree hugger.

Fourth Biennial Faculty and Staff Exhibition at UCBA Gallery (April 23, 2019)

Spring Grove Cemetery Sketch with Urban Sketchers (April 9, 2019)
Nice day sketching at Spring Grove Cemetery with the Urban Sketchers Sunday.
Below is my sketch – Exploding Cherry Blossom Tree.
It is amazing how many flowers that explode from this tree so quickly. It reminded me of fireworks. This is the first time I used my iPad to sketch from life, I love this medium.

OPEN SOURCE 1.3 (March 13, 2019)
I will have 20 drawings of my Pareidolia: Rockface Series drawings in an exhibition titled, Open Source 1.3 at The Carnegie.
The opening is Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5pm – 8pm. A special performance by Sky Cubacub will happen at the opening.
