Caricature (March 15, 2021)
am designing a new course for the summer session titled Cartooning and Comics, and decided to put in a lecture on caricature. So I decided to create a caricature of Rodin the sculptor based from an old photograph of him. I am planning on using this as a basis for illustrating the process. Below is the finished caricature.

Automatic Drawing (November 23, 2020)
Here is another automatic drawing. I just start doodling and as I work – some kind of composition comes to me. With this piece, I saw a definite human caricature right off the bat and just went with it. I title it “The Inspector”.
